13/01/2006 - The Environment Agency has appointed Graham Ledward
as the new Director of Human Resources.
Dr David King, Acting Chief Executive of the Environment
Agency, said Mr Ledward had more than eight years experience
at a director level in the retail and banking sectors.
"We look forward to working with Graham as part of
the Directors team here, as he will play a key role alongside
our operational teams to support organisational efficiency
and change," Dr King said.
Mr Ledward previously held a director position at Alliance
and Leicester. Prior to this, he spent 12 years in retail
after beginning his career in the public sector.
Mr Ledward replaces Giles Duncan, who retired in September
last year.

The Environment Agency for England and Wales is a Non-Departmental
