your business success? Are you busy inventing the next generation
of environmental technologies or designing an energy efficient
building? Or, maybe you are considered to be an environmental
champion? If the answer is yes to any of these, then you
or your company should be entering the Northwest Business
Environment Awards 2007.
Now in its fifth successive year, the awards celebrate
the achievements of companies that are responding to the
challenges of sustainable development.
Businesses that are commercially successful and have made
a contribution to the protection, management and conservation
of the environment are being invited to enter the 2007 awards
by 02 February.
Awards are presented in the fields of environmental technologies,
environmental best practice, media and communications, leadership,
environmental champions and new for 2007; built environment
and sustainable procurement.
Winning a Northwest Business Environment Award is a great
way to raise your profile, boost your reputation, gain an
advantage over your competitors and recognise the hard work
of your staff.
Hosted by the Mersey Basin Campaign and the Northwest Regional
Development Agency (NWDA), with support from the Environment
Agency, CBI Northwest, ENWORKS, Envirolink Northwest, Groundwork
Northwest, RIBA, the Institute of Directors, and MIDAS the
awards are open to all companies based in England’s Northwest.
The winners will be announced at an evening prize-giving
ceremony in Manchester. Previous Northwest Business Environment
Award winners include; Luminanz Limited in Bolton, leading
pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, cleaning and hygiene
chemicals company Evans Vanodine International and environmental
leadership award winner David Crawshaw from United Utilities.
Now it’s time to add your name to the list.

the future prosperity of England’s Northwest."
The deadline for this year’s entries is 2nd February 2007.
